Stepping Stones Day Nursery Aims

We aim to provide a happy and safe environment, but one which is also challenging where children can play, explore and investigate and therefore learn and develop as individuals.

 

We aim to support and extend all children's learning and development based on their individual needs and interests.

 

We aim to work together in a friendly and motivated team to provide a consistent yet flexible approach to meeting the needs of children, parents and staff.

 

We do this by working from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) document which enables all children to develop at their own pace through the different stages of their early education.

 

We provide a play based curriculum which centres on having a wide range of basic continuous provision available at all times to enable the children to choose their own activities, therefore providing a rich learning environment with the child at its centre.

We listen to the needs of our children, parents and staff. We have an open door policy, for parents to come and talk to us as we pride ourselves on being an approachable and friendly team. We welcome and take on board suggestions from parents and carers in order to provide a quality provision for your child.
